wide choice city center
The complimentary breakfast offered a wide choice. I found waffles and pancakes especially good. The hotel included a bar, prices were similar to what one pays in the city center.

flat cocktail terrible guiness
The raspberry fizz cocktail tasted flat. I did not note any decoration on it. The price seemed high for such a small glass. My partner reports the Guiness was terrible also. I waited half an hour for two pizzas. They were not hot when they arrived.

slow bar service staff avoidance
The bar service seemed a tad slow, or perhaps non-existent is a better description. I had a 35-minute wait for my order. Turns out, I was blessed as others waited even longer. The staff mostly seemed to have perfected the art of avoiding eye contact with all of us thirsty patrons, a skill I can only dream of mastering. I'm not sure if more staff would fix it or a complete staff replacement.

fantastic stay!

helpful staff early check-in amazing breakfast central location
the staff was cheerful and helpful! they organized an early check-in, greatly appreciated after my travels. breakfast was amazing, and the waffle machine was an added bonus. the location was great, very central to everything.

the location is convenient to the grand central station, perfect after a train journey. it is also very close to the city centre. this makes exploring very easy. there is also a garage next door.

The hotel provides sanitizers at reception and at the lifts. These are kept topped up regularly. breakfast has a waffle machine, a great added feature. the food was AMAZING!!!
